Architecture / Interior Design
A design studio based in Bangalore and Kochi, creating thoughtful architecture and interiors for homes, workplaces and commercial spaces.
A projective practice
INQ.LINE is an Indian design house working at the meeting point of architecture and interiors. Every space we make is curated, crafted and bespoke: drawn for one client, one site, one way of living.
From studios in Bangalore and Kochi we design residences and commercial environments across India and for clients abroad, bringing the country’s deepest craft traditions into conversation with contemporary international design.
Our philosophy
We believe good design is a balance of place, people and purpose, expressed through honest materials, thoughtful details and spaces that feel lived in.
About our studioSpatial planning, architectural design and development for homes, workplaces and commercial buildings.
Space planning, materials, furniture, lighting and detailing, delivered as complete, turnkey interiors.
Concept to construction support as per project needs, for clients building with their own teams in India or abroad.
Collaborating with consultants and contractors for smooth execution, from tender to handover.
The process
A method refined across more than a hundred spaces. It is why our projects finish on time and feel inevitable.
We begin with you: how you live, how you work, what you want to feel when you walk through the door. Site visits at different hours. No sketches yet.
Concepts drawn by hand, then refined in 3D. Light, proportion and material are composed together, never in isolation.
Joinery, stone and textiles are prototyped with our makers in Kochi and Bangalore until they feel right under the hand.
Our own site teams execute every detail and we stay until the final styling is complete. You receive a finished space, not a set of drawings.

Client words
“We asked for a home that felt Indian without feeling old, and INQ.LINE understood that on the first visit. Every piece of teak, every cane panel, every light switch was drawn for us. Guests touch the walls before they sit down.”
